I smell like a campfire and bacon.
The 2 Bacon explosions turned out pretty well. Crispy, spicy, not too dry.
They were sliced and served on fresh biscuits with spicy mayo. Sides included, home made veal chili, potato salad and tomato salad.
All in all, you wish you were there.

The underside is seasoned with a rub, and the whole thing has been wrapped in saran wrap for storage. It will later be filled with sausage and yet more bacon, rolled and then slow cooked on the BBQ for a few hours.

Meatless Monday’s kicks off with a bang. Pan fried black pepper tofu over a bed of rice. Lunch was a vegan burrito and breakfast was few pieces of fruit. So far so good. (Taken with instagram)
